Invest in students.
strengthen our community.

The Foundation for Folsom Cordova Schools champions educational equity, excellence, and opportunity for every student in the
Folsom Cordova Unified School District.

Welcome

The Foundation for Folsom Cordova Schools was created to help mobilize community support for students, educators, and schools throughout Folsom Cordova Unified School District.

Our work is rooted in a simple belief: when a community invests in its students, everyone benefits. By building partnerships, raising funds, and supporting programs that enrich learning, the Foundation helps expand what is possible for students across our schools.

As we grow, we are focused on building a strong foundation for long-term impact, including clear funding priorities, community partnerships, donor engagement, and sustainable support for student-centered initiatives.

Why Support The Foundation?

Public schools are at the heart of a strong community. They prepare future leaders, support families, strengthen neighborhoods, and help students discover their talents and potential.

The Foundation helps connect community generosity with student opportunity. Through donations, sponsorships, partnerships, and volunteer support, we can help provide resources that enhance learning, support innovation, and respond to emerging needs across FCUSD.

Our mission

To champion educational equity, excellence, and opportunity for every student in FCUSD by fostering community collaboration, mobilizing resources, and elevating student and school success.

Our vision

A thriving Folsom Cordova community where every student is supported, every school is empowered, and collective investment in public education strengthens the future for all.

2026-27 Funding Priorities

The Foundation for Folsom Cordova Schools has adopted its first-year funding priorities to provide meaningful, manageable and mission-aligned support for students across FCUSD.

For 2026-27, the Foundation will focus on two areas:

Literacy Support
Supporting student access to books through book vending machine programs and gifting books to schools to support positive behavior programs.

Career Technical Education Graduate Scholarships
Providing three $1,000 scholarships—one for an eligible graduating senior from Cordova High School, Folsom High School and Vista del Lago High School.

These priorities are subject to available funds and future board approval of applicable program guidelines and procedures. Community support, ongoing giving and employer matching gifts will help bring these priorities to life for FCUSD students.
