The Foundation for Folsom Cordova Schools was created to bring community support, resources, and partnerships together in service of students and schools throughout Folsom Cordova Unified School District.

We believe strong public schools are the foundation of a thriving community. When students are supported, schools are strengthened, families benefit, and the entire Folsom Cordova region grows stronger.

As a community-based education foundation, we work to champion student success, support educator and school excellence, and expand opportunities for every student across FCUSD.

Folsom Cordova Unified School District serves students across diverse schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Each student brings unique strengths, goals, talents, and needs, and each educator plays an essential role in helping students learn, grow, and succeed.
 

The Foundation exists to connect community generosity with meaningful opportunities that support both students and educators. Through donations, sponsorships, partnerships, and volunteer support, we help build additional resources that enhance learning, strengthen school communities, and expand opportunities across FCUSD.
 

By investing in educator and scholar excellence, the Foundation helps ensure that community support is directed toward initiatives that make a lasting difference for students, schools, and the broader Folsom Cordova community.

As the Foundation grows, we are focused on building a strong and sustainable organization that can support FCUSD students and schools for years to come. This includes:
 

• Creating clear funding priorities that align with student and school needs

• Building relationships with families, alumni, local businesses, civic partners, and community members

• Raising funds to support student-centered programs and initiatives

• Strengthening community awareness and investment in public education

• Establishing responsible governance, financial systems, and long-term sustainability
   

The Foundation is currently identifying its first funding priorities and building the systems needed to ensure community support is used thoughtfully, transparently, and effectively.

The Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members who care deeply about public education and the success of FCUSD students. Together, board members are helping shape the Foundation’s direction, build community partnerships, and create opportunities for long-term support.
